Adam is a seasoned Customer Engineer on the Google Public Sector team, focusing on the Department of the Air Force. For over a decade, he's been bringing cloud technology to the military. He got his start directly contracting with DoD customers, and he's most proud of building the first-ever USAF cloud environment, the Common Computing Environment (CCE). This platform later became what we now know as Cloud One.
After that, he spent more than seven years at Amazon Web Services, leading all technical engagements for the Air Force and Combatant Commands. His work with the Air Force ranged from migrating basic web apps to Cloud One to developing brand new weapons systems. With the COCOMs, he helped TRANSCOM completely move its data center to AWS, built industry collaboration environments for STRATCOM, and designed what would become the CBC2 architecture for NORTHCOM.
Adam's technical expertise covers high-performance computing (HPC), high-side networking, tactical edge, and cross-domain solutions. He's also directly influenced DoD cloud policy, helping to develop the DoD CC SRG and CNAP reference architecture. He is a graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park, and resides in the DC area with his wife and daughter.
