Bethany L. Medina is performing duties as Deputy Future Systems Branch Chief, Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph, Texas. She was directly responsible for the United States Air Force implementation of HCM SaaS (Human Capital Management Software-as-a-Service)  and is a direct advisor to the United States Space Force on their Human Resource IT Modernization effort affecting the service population of 550k members. Ms. Medina began her federal civil service career in 2014 as an Intelligence Specialist at Joint Reserve Base Naval Air Station Fort Worth, Texas. She served in that capacity until 2017 when she accepted a position in the private section as a Cyber Analyst for Northrop Grumman. In 2020, Ms. Medina returned to civil service as an Acquisition Program Manager.Prior to her government civilian service, Ms. Medina served in the Air Force both on Active Duty and in the Reserves. Her career took her all over the world serving in various leadership positions. In those roles, she diversified herself with 20 years of experience that harvested a wealth of experience and expertise that she has carried over to her her civilian career.
