Ben Homer leads software modernization efforts for the Department of the Air Force Chief Technology Officer. In this position he drives enterprise-wide strategy and policy related to Cloud, DevSecOps, AI, and cybersecurity to accelerate delivery of cutting edge technology to the warfighter. Prior to this he led Strategic Communications for the Department of the Air Force Office of the Chief Information Officer, and served for three years at Air Force innovation unit Kessel Run leading partnerships and strategic innovation. His private sector experience includes more than a decade of leadership roles in media and technology firms, including as Head of Global Customer Experience for Livestream Inc (acquired by IAC), with CBS Interactive, and Major League Baseball Advanced Media. He holds a BS in Business Administration from Boston University, a MA in International Affairs from The New School, and a MS in Strategic Intelligence from National Intelligence University
