Ahmad Austin is a cybersecurity executive, author, and educator with more than two decades of experience protecting critical information systems. His technology journey began in the United States Air Force, where he developed the foundation for a career dedicated to cybersecurity, risk management, and digital transformation.

After separating from the Air Force in 2007, Ahmad continued serving the defense community as a military contractor. As his experience and vision expanded, he recognized the need for trusted cybersecurity leadership and founded Cy3 Security, where he serves as owner and chief executive officer. Through Cy3 Security, he has delivered cybersecurity consulting and risk management services to Air Force and Navy organizations, healthcare systems, retail companies, and state agencies throughout Georgia, Alabama, Florida, Texas, Washington, D.C., and North Carolina.

He is also the author of The Boundaryless Enterprise: Redesigning Oversight for the Age of Intelligent Systems and AI for Everyone: No One Is Left Behind.

In addition to his work in cybersecurity, Ahmad created SteadyDay, a digital platform designed to assist caregivers who support patients with dementia.

Today, Ahmad is focused on developing the next generation of digital leaders through education, mentorship, and community engagement. His vision is to establish programs and academies that equip young people with the cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and critical-thinking skills necessary to thrive in the digital age, beginning with the students and families in the communities that first invested in him.
