The Department of the Air Force faces a continuous challenge: modernizing mission-critical legacy infrastructure without compromising current operational readiness. Traditional manual refactoring of aging code bases is resource-intensive and slow, bottlenecking our transition to cloud-native, resilient architectures. To achieve lethality at the digital edge, we must shift from manual labor to automated velocity.
In this session, Omni17 and Stratias present an innovative joint solution: a collaborative, multi-agent AI system specifically designed for application migration and modernization. Rather than relying on disparate AI tools, this system deploys a synchronized "digital flightline" of specialized AI agents acting as Scrum Masters, Product Owners, Software Engineers, Security Engineers, and UX Analysts. We will demonstrate how these cross-functional agents autonomously collaborate to crush technical debt, enforce security compliance, and refactor legacy code into cloud-ready capabilities, all while maintaining the strict standards required for defense operations.
Objectives and takeaways:
• Identify how collaborative multi-agent AI frameworks differ from single-prompt AI tools when applied to complex DoW software modernization.
• Analyze how autonomous AI Security and UX agents can pre-screen and refactor code to streamline security compliance and accelerate cloud-native migration.
• Formulate strategies to leverage agentic workflows to reduce enterprise technical debt and free up resources for higher-priority mission requirements.
