This briefing highlights the Registration Authority’s (RA) initiative to modernize and stabilize the LRA program by strengthening the skills, training, and readiness of personnel performing identity‑assurance duties. Rather than restructuring, the RA is implementing targeted improvements that enhance workforce proficiency and ensure consistent execution of LRA responsibilities across all installations. 

Key topics include expanded instructor‑led training, a proactive audit schedule designed to reinforce compliance and standardization, and implementing an LRA Program Roster to ensure accurate accountability. Through a recent data call, the RA office requested all LRAs to return the roster to confirm their active status. Without a received roster, the RA office understands that LRA duties have ceased and will update records to reflect that change.
